Over the years CJB Photography has built up considerable expertise in photographing large groups of people.
The essential elements of good group photography are good composition, good lighting and the ability to get your subjects to do as you ask with minimum fuss.
As we are used to dealing with people from all walks of life, we are equally at home with the gentlemen on the shop floor or the Lord Mayor.

Case Study 1
Worcestershire Cadet Force
At the Worcestershire Cadet Force Lunch at the Chateau Impney, we had barely ten minutes to take this group photograph which includes:
- The Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire
- The Deputy Lieutenant of Worcestershire
- A Major General
- 5 Colonels
- 2 Majors
- 2 Brigadiers
- Lord and Lady Sandys
- 8 Mayors/Deputy Mayors
- and other assorted Dignitaries
Case Study 2
Leeds Medical School Graduation Ball
At Leeds Medical School Graduation Ball, the brief was to photograph a group 180 people before the meal, in order to provide each with a photograph to take away that night.
The use of three lights was needed to provide good lighting in a difficult location.
Case Study 3
MotaQuip Annual Dinner
At the MotaQuip Annual Dinner which was held at Blenheim Palace, we had to photograph this group after the meal.
This was the only space available and required two mains lights on the balcony near to the camera to obtain the evenness of lighting.
Battery flash would not have had the necessary power in this situation.
