Horse Events and Sports Event Photography

With our Mobile Digital Darkroom and experienced team of photographers, we can cover almost any size of horse show event. We recognise the importance of 'capturing the moment', be it a Dressage or horse jumping show and our high speed cameras enable us to get the shots missed by the amateur photographer - we get the horse, they get the tail!

Radio communication between members of the CJB Photography team enables us to keep in touch. On one occasion at a horse show event, we were able to alert the paramedics to an accident as they were away from the ambulance at the time. We even have fluorescent jackets to wear if appropriate.

Mobile Digital Darkroom

This unique purpose built trailer, complete with its own generator, enables us to attend horse events independent of mains electricity. We have full wet weather protection for use in inclement weather. We have a tall flag pole so that we are easy to find in a crowded location.

For smaller horse events, we can work out of the back of our car, using our second, smaller generator.

Quality Event Photography, Photographs and Mounts

Our quality horse show event photography, with attention to detail, deserves the best quality prints and mounts. We produce only quality, photographic prints at your event, not cheap ink jets, as provided by most of our competitors.

Our top of the range equipment can produce up to 300 prints an hour, as opposed to the much slower ink jet printers used by most of our competitors. Ink jet prints fade over time, whereas ours are much more durable.

Whereas most of our competitors use cheap 'school' strut mounts, or inferior card folders, we use the much better quality 'slip in' photographic slip in mounts.

Whereas many sports events photographers offer only one size of print at any event, usually 7" x 5" or 8" x 6", we offer a selection of sizes. We normally offer 6" x 4" as the initial print, with the option for the guests to purchase enlargements up to 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" at the event.

Other sizes offered are 7" x 5", and 8 x 6. We also offer a dual mount, with an 8" x 6" view photo and a 6" x 4" upright (suitable for group or team photographs coupled with an individual). We also offer a 12" x 8" print in a special mount with space for a title underneath, ready for framing. The sizes offered are tailored to each event, after discussion with the client.

Gold Blocked Mounts

Our quality mounts can be gold blocked on the front and/or inside with logo and text for your special event. This serves to keep your name in front of your client, when they view the event photograph later.

Website Print Preview and Ordering Reprints

Horse Event Photographs taken at your event are posted on our secure website, usually within two working days. Reprints can be ordered on-line, together with the following gift ideas:

Photographic print orders made on the website are normally dispatched within five working days, often by return of post.
