Prom Photography

CJB Photography is the foremost local supplier of photographs for Award Ceremonies and Proms and has been covering Company Corporate Days, Charity Fund Raisers, and Award Ceremonies etc, initially using film cameras, since January 1988.

We were the first company in the West Midlands to offer a digital print-on-site service for these events and provide School Prom Photography for events in Worcester, Dudley, Sandwell and Wolverhampton and as far afield as Peterborough, Sheffield, Leeds and Marlborough and Award Ceremonies for many companies, local authorities, schools and colleges.

As a testament to our quality and service, we have undertaken work for the Home Office in London and Birmingham, the National Blood Service and major companies such as Minivator, The West Bromwich Building Society, A1 Motor Stores and Pallex. We have travelled the country for national clients and have covered events with over 1000 guests. The Village Hotel in Dudley booked us to cover their Christmas Parties every night throughout December!

School Prom Photography

We are already booking steadily for the Prom Season next year and we can cover three events on any one evening. We already have two Proms booked on several nights. As we are one of the largest prom photography companies offering print-on-site, we have spare operators available to cover for any unexpected emergencies.

How many students do you expect to attend? We have the staff to send the number of operators necessary to provide an excellent service. Up to four operators may be needed for very large Proms.

Prom Photograph Sizes Available

Next year, we will be charging £8 for a 6 x 4 in a presentation folder and £15 for both a 10 x 7 in folder and a 12x8 without a folder – all these being available on the night. We would also upload all the images to our website for future viewing/ordering.

We have specially made mounts to take an 8" x 6" group picture and a 6" x 4" picture in the one mount. We can shoot the Prom group before the event begins and offer this unique dual mount for sale during the Prom.

However, many of 'our' proms are taking advantage of our pre-paid offer. This is where the cost of the photograph is included in the cost of the ticket, enabling us to keep the cost down with the initial picture being just £7. We can also offer a much faster service after the pictures are printed, as queuing is kept to a minimum, giving the students more time to enjoy themselves.

Simply, we offer the highest quality service, supplying top quality, photographic prints (not cheap inkjet copies) in the best 'Slip-in' mounts, with the flap on the front (not the much cheaper 'Strut' mounts as used by the majority of School Photographers) and on Prom nights we can print sizes up to 12" x 8" on the night. Our high-speed printers will produce 300 off 6" x 4" prints per hour and we are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance for £5million!

As you would expect from a large company who offers school prom photography services, we have a very large selection of backgrounds on which to pose the guests.

We do not make a charge to attend – we make our money on the quality of our work.

Unless specifically requested otherwise, we also upload all the images to our website for future viewing/ordering by the parents and students.

There are certainly cheaper photographers offering a service for Proms, but please be aware they will probably not be full-time professionals, not be producing our quality nor have our speed and they may not even have the necessary insurance! They may appear to be offering a better service, but it would be a great disappointment if the guests did not receive their prints as promised.
