Wild West & Western Themed Events Photography

The Wild West is a popular party theme, with the guests dressing down rather than up. In our experience of producing western themed events photography, we find that people's outfits usually start with check shirts and scruffy jeans, with the addition of a cowboy style hat and waistcoat.

Wild West Events Costumes

Guests at wild west events may opt to wear either a Union or a Confederate uniform or alternatively a trapper's or Indian costume.

CJB Photography has a large selection of replica wild west style replica guns which we can bring to your event to add a sense of realism to the western themed photography we produce. They include the following:

• An authentic shotgun (approximately 1880)
• A Winchester rifle
• Colt Peacemaker
• Plus several other pistols dating from 1853 up to 1875.

A variety of wild west themed holsters are also available to add more of an atmosphere.

If it would help the event to roll along, three of these guns can fire blanks to add a 'bang' to your western event.

Permission must be granted by the venue to bring these replica weapons to the function, especially if they are required to be fired (under strictly controlled conditions!)

Quality Wild West Events Photography and Mounts

Our quality wild west events photography, with attention to detail, deserves the best quality prints and mounts. We produce only quality, photographic prints at your event, not cheap ink jets, as provided by most of our competitors.

Our top of the range equipment can produce up to 300 prints an hour, as opposed to the much slower ink jet printers used by most of our competitors. Ink jet prints fade over time, whereas ours are much more durable.

Whereas most of our competitors use cheap 'school' strut mounts, or inferior card folders, we use the much better quality 'slip in' photographic slip in mounts.

Whereas many western themed events photographers offer only one size of print at any event, usually 7" x 5" or 8" x 6", we offer a selection of sizes. We normally offer 6" x 4" as the initial print, with the option for the guests to purchase 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" enlargements at the event.

Other sizes offered are 7" x 5", and 8 x 6. We also offer a dual mount, with an 8" x 6" view photo and a 6" x 4" upright (suitable for group or team photographs coupled with an individual). We also offer a 12" x 8" print in a special mount with space for a title underneath, ready for framing. The sizes offered are tailored to each event, after discussion with the client.

Gold Blocked Mounts

Our quality mounts can be gold blocked on the front and/or inside with company logo and text for your special event. This serves to keep your name in front of your client, when they view the western themed photography later.

Website Print Preview and Ordering Reprints

Wild West Event Photographs taken at your event are posted on our secure website, usually within two working days. Reprints can be ordered online, together with the following western themed events gift ideas:

Photographic print orders made on the website are normally dispatched within five working days, often by return of post.
